The Circus Hub is a not-for-profit organisation. We hugely appreciate all the support we receive from our community, donors, and volunteers. Thanks to their time, effort, funding, and passion, we're able to deliver programming that gets us ever closer to achieving our Mission & Vision.

The Wellington Circus Trust is the registered charity which operates The Circus Hub.

By default, donations go towards our day-to-day operations. If you would like your donation to go towards a specific project or item at the Hub, please contact us.
Donating Time and Skills
It takes a community to run a circus. While we have a great staff, we have even greater ambitions, and additional help is always welcome. If you have spare time to offer, here are some of the specific skills that are always in demand at the Hub:

Fundraising: from scouring the internet for grant opportunities to writing the applications themselves, we're always looking for money-minded people to help advocate for the Hub.​

Logistics for shows and projects: are you a master of to-do lists? Do you delight in creating the perfect plan? We could always use an extra pair of hands to help us make our dreams a reality.

Social media: we're working on our social media presence, and while we've got an excellent marketing expert, we always love when our people approach us with ideas for cool content. Whether you've just got an idea or you've got the time to create content, we'd love to work with you.

Don't see your skills represented on the list? Reach out anyways! We've got volunteers who help us with everything from painting walls to reviewing our business model. Volunteers are a cherished part of our Hub community, and often help us accomplish things we wouldn't even have thought of without their perspectives.
Donating Items
We accept certain circus- and fitness-related items, if they're in good condition. Donations of human weight-bearing items are only accepted upon inspection. If you have a large or special item that you'd like to offer to the Hub, please contact us to arrange a discussion.
